Currículum
Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas y Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas, mención Ecología de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Profesor del área de Biología y Bioestadística de la Facultad de Ciencias. Su línea de investigación se relaciona con el estudio y modelamiento de sistemas ecológicos a distintos niveles de organización. En la última década se ha desempeñado como consultor en diversos equipos multidisciplinarios, aportando como experto en análisis y modelamiento de poblaciones y comunidades ecológicas, al igual que en la sistematización de información cartográfica ambiental. Es autor de más de quince artículos en revistas de corriente principal y capítulos de libros. Actualmente es Profesor Titular e Investigador Principal del Centro de Investigación e Innovación para el Cambio Climático (CiiCC) de la Universidad Santo Tomás.
Su línea de investigación principal es la Conservación y Gestión Ambiental, y sus líneas de investigación complementarias son la Macroecología; Modelamiento de Nicho y Distribución de Especies; Observación de la Tierra.
