Licenciada en Biología, Universidad de La Habana, Cuba, Doctora en Ciencias con mención en Ecología y Biología Evolutiva, Universidad de Chile. Máster en Gestión y Conservación de la Biodiversidad en los Trópicos, Universidad San Pablo CEU, Sevilla, España. Investigadora asociada del Centro de Investigación e Innovación para el Cambio Climático (CiiCC) de la Universidad Santo Tomás. Ha desarrollado investigación asociada a Ecología de Ambientes Fragmentados, Biología de la Conservación, Bioacústica, Ecología y Conservación de murciélagos, Biodiversidad y Servicios Ecosistémicos en Ambientes Productivos y Ecología del paisaje.
