Rodrigo Estévez Weinstein

Currículum

Sociólogo y doctor en Ciencias por la Universidad de Melbourne, es Profesor Asociado del Programa de Doctorado en Conservación y Gestión de la Biodiversidad en la Universidad Santo Tomás. Con una trayectoria de más de 15 años, se ha especializado en la investigación de la gobernanza de los sistemas socio-ecológicos costeros y la adaptación de las comunidades pesqueras al cambio climático. Ha publicado más de 20 artículos científicos en revistas indexadas y ha dirigido múltiples proyectos de investigación financiados por FONDECYT y otras instituciones. Además, es Investigador Asociado del Instituto Milenio en Socio-Ecología Costera y el Instituto de Ecología y Biodiversidad. Ha contribuido activamente a la formación de nuevos investigadores a través de la dirección de tesis de postgrado y su participación en comités de evaluación. Su trabajo ha sido presentado en numerosas conferencias internacionales, y es un miembro activo en la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (IUCN según siglas en inglés) y My Climate Risk network.
