Currículum
Biólogo Marino, Doctor en Ecología, Profesor titular de la Facultad de Ciencias y Director del Centro de Investigación e Innovación para el Cambio Climático (CiiCC) de la Universidad Santo Tomás (Santiago, Chile). El Dr. Lagos desarrolla investigación en ecología de ecosistemas bentónicos, siendo investigador principal y encargado de líneas de acción en proyectos que evalúan las respuestas biológicas de los invertebrados marinos a la acidificación del océano en los ecosistemas del Pacifico sur-oriental (Fondecyt 1090624 y ANILLO ACT 132). En el presente, dirige estudios de campo observacionales y experimentales para evaluar la variabilidad en la producción de carbono y sus implicaciones sobre la estructura y función de los ecosistemas bentónicos a lo largo de la costa de Chile (Fondecyt 1140938, 1140092 y Núcleo Milenio MUSELS, Minecon NC 120086). Es miembro de grupo de trabajo SOLAS-IMBER en acidificación del océano y del consejo científico del Centro de Coordinación Internacional en Acidificación del Océano (OA-ICC), y codirector de la Red Latinoamericana de Acidificación del Océano (Red LAOCA).
