Currículum
Bióloga Marina de la Universidad de Valparaíso y Doctora en Ciencias, mención Ecología y Biología Evolutiva de la Universidad de Chile. Su línea de investigación se relaciona con genética de la conservación de mamíferos marinos en Chile, particularmente cetáceos, integrando aspectos de ecología molecular y ecología del comportamiento. Adicionalmente participa en proyectos de captura incidental de mamíferos marinos (bycatch) a nivel nacional. Actualmente lidera un proyecto FONDECYT de Iniciación enfocado a evaluar la estructura filogeográfica, inferencia demográfica e impacto de la ballena en poblaciones de ballena sei del hemisferio sur y es Directora de un proyecto de Fondo de Investigación Pesquera y de Acuicultura enfocado a evaluar las interacciones del delfín chileno con actividades de pesca y acuicultura. Es integrante de diferentes Consejos Consultivos, Directorios y Comités Académicos. Actualmente es Académica Regular de la Universidad Mayor, Investigadora del Instituto de Ecología y Biodiversidad (IEB) y Directora del Centro de Investigación Eutropia.
